Local Manual Control
When the Local/Off/Remote switch for odor control fan F-12051  is in the Local position, the Start/Stop push buttons control the fan.
SCADA Manual Control
When the Local/Off/Remote switch for odor control fan F-12051 is in the Remote position, the fan is controlled by the plant PLC.  The Operator may select manual or auto control from the SCADA screen.  The fan may be stopped or started from the SCADA screen when manual is selected.
SCADA Auto Control
When the Local/Off/Remote switch for odor control fan F-12051 is in the Remote position, the fan is controlled by the plant PLC.  The fan starts and runs continuously when auto is selected on the SCADA screen.
Fault Conditions
A flow switch is installed in the duct, and a fan failure alarm will annunciate if the flow switch does not detect flow after the fan is called to run.
 
Primary Clarifiers and Influent Pump Station Wet Well
Local Manual Control
When the Local/Off/Remote switch for primary clarifier odor control fan F-42004 is in the Local position, the Start/Stop push buttons control the fan.
SCADA Manual Control
When the Local/Off/Remote switch for primary clarifier odor control fan F-42004 is in the Remote position, the fan is controlled by the plant PLC. The Operator may select manual or auto control from the SCADA screen. The fan may be stopped or started from the SCADA screen when manual is selected.

When the Local/Off/Remote switches for Solids Handling Building odor control fans F-51005 and F-51021 are in the Remote position, the fans are controlled by the plant PLC. The Operator may select manual or auto control from the SCADA screen. The fans may be stopped or started from the SCADA screen when manual is selected.

When the Local/Off/Remote switches for Biofilter Supply Fans F-31031A and F-31031B are in the Local position, the Start/Stop push buttons control the fans.

When the Local/Off/Remote switches for biofilter supply fans F-31031A and F-31031B are in the Remote position, the fans are controlled by the plant PLC. The Operator may select manual or auto control from the SCADA screen. The fans may be stopped or started from the SCADA screen when manual is selected.
SCADA Auto Control
When the Local/Off/Remote switches for biofilter supply fans F-51005 and F-51021 are in the Remote position, the fans are controlled by the plant PLC. The fans start and run continuously when auto is selected on the SCADA screen.

Biofilters Irrigation Valves 
Local Manual Control
None.  All controls are made through SCADA.
SCADA Manual Control
An Operator can open/close irrigation valves from HMI screen.
SCADA Auto Control
1.) An Operator selects each biofilter bed to be in or out of service.
2.) Each valve is controlled by operator adjustable frequency and duration timers that enable, for example, opening each valve for 3 minutes every hour.
3.) Operator selects the following variables on SCADA:
   a) Select irrigation duration in minutes per hour.
   b) Select which hours of the day to irrigate.
Fault Conditions
An alarm will be activated if either of the following conditions occur:
   a) Biofilter Supply Fan failure
   b) Low foul air flow
